What is it like? A Barolo will always have a steely character. In the hands of Negretti it carries an elegance. This Barolo comes from a blend of the various Cru of Negretti’s Property: “Bricco Ambrogio” in Roddi, “Rive” and “Bettolotti” in La Morra. It is “a team play” as the Negretti brothers brilliantly put it.

How to serve? To allow our taste buds to better appreciate a Barolo, drink it with food (except seafood!). Vintages 2013 and 2014 are too young for the full profile of flavours to express. If however you like freshness in Barolo, give it a try. This will go well with grilled steak and Iberico pork chop, or lamb rack. Open at least 2-3 hours ahead and serve at 16 degrees C.
