What is it like? Made of 100% Cortese, a local grape in Northern Italy and the grapes that made Gavi. It is a refreshing white with good acidity and notes of fresh pear. A great companion for summer. Served chilled.
It was a search for Timorasso, a lesser known white gem in the province of Alessandria in Piedmont, that has brought us to get to know La Colombera. We find that other more “commonly” known wines are equally stunning, so here we have Bricco Bartolomeo . Try “Elisa” their elegant Barbera too.
